Kisspeptin
Trial HPG-axis peptide
What it is
Kisspeptin peptides sit above GnRH in the reproductive axis. KP-54 and KP-10 have been infused in human physiology studies to probe LH pulses. Catalog KP-10 is not a licensed fertility drug.
Benefits in plain language
What researchers and reference users usually mean when they talk about this compound. These are study themes and common claims — not a promise that it will do this in you.
- The hormone that sits above GnRH and helps start puberty and adult reproductive pulsing.
- Researchers and some clinics look at it for low-signal reproductive axes and kisspeptin-10 challenge tests.
- Not an aphrodisiac in the PT-141 sense. It is an upstream fertility/axis peptide.
- Flushing and hormone swings are possible when you push this axis.
If a branded, FDA-approved product exists, that label is the only dose that is actually authorized. Research-chemical vials are a different object.
Mechanism of action
KISS1R on GnRH neurons triggers GnRH, then LH/FSH. That only works if the pituitary and gonads can respond.
Possible side effects / caveats
Flushing, transient mood or gonadotropin swings, and the usual sterile-product concerns. Continuous stimulation can theoretically flatten pulses — physiology is pulsatile.
